Lucknow Super Giants managed to score 165 runs in 20 overs after losing 4 wickets only
due to Ayush Badoni’s half-century. Lucknow lost wickets at regular intervals at the
beginning of the innings due to which their performance weakened but due to a 99-run
partnership for the 5th wicket between Ayush Badoni and Nicholas Pooran, Lucknow’s team
managed to cross the score of 160. Badoni scored 55 runs. Pooran returned unbeaten after
scoring 48 runs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took two wickets for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Poor Performance of Lucknow

Lucknow’s performance was weak at the start of the match yesterday. The team lost the
first wicket in the third over. Quinton de Kock could score only two runs in 5 balls. Marcus
Stoinis was dismissed after scoring three runs in 5 balls. Captain KL Rahul scored 29 runs
in 33 balls. Krunal was run out after scoring 24 runs. After this, there was an unbeaten
partnership of 99 runs in 52 balls for the fifth wicket between Badoni and Puran, due to
which the Lucknow team scored 165 runs. Puran scored 48 runs in 26 balls and Ayush
Badoni scored 55 runs in 30 balls.

Journey of Lucknow vs Hyderabad Team

The team of Lucknow entered the 2022 season of IPL for the first time. This is only its third
